In addition to the above commands your dog will learn all of the ‘good manners’: no bark, no bite, no jump, no chew, stay off the furniture, and how to easily load in and ride in your vehicle safely.
We perform this course two ways, one on one training where I visit you in your home or a nearby park and I train you to train your dog. Typically, I would meet with you for a seventy-five minute session once per week. During this session I will give your dog a short lesson demonstrating the training method to you, then you will practice the same lesson with your dog while I watch and provide hints and instruction. Then, between lessons you will practice this lesson with your dog once or twice per day. This method of training typically takes four to six weeks. It is my preferred method as the owner learns everything that the dog learns. During lessons we discuss dog behavior and motivations – why your dog acts like he does and why we train in certain ways. Your family is welcome to participate in all lessons.
Alternatively, we offer a ‘Board and Train’ option where your dog comes and lives with me in my home and I train your dog for you. This method typically takes two to three weeks and your dog will be returned to you trained in all of the above lessons. The ‘board and train’ option includes two one on one follow up lessons with the owner.
Using either method, the trainer is available between and after lessons to take phone calls and text messages if any questions or issues come up.

I come and meet you in your home and train you how to introduce your new puppy or dog to your home successfully and in a stress free manner. This lesson usually takes ninety minutes. This lesson can be done before you actually bring your puppy home.
